Here is our sketch, designed by fellow Creative Team member Amy Prior.  Here is my take....I think I have managed to stick to it pretty well.  The only thing I changed up was the number of photo's
For this layout  I have used some pics of hubby and I on our recent holiday down on the South Coast of Australia.
I have used some of My Minds Eye - The Sweetest Thing collection; a handmade flower from my Scrapping BFF - Tash.... you can find more of her luscious blooms here....  With All my Art and Soul and some of the embellishments that went with this collection.

I have added some texture by using some Coarse Texture Paste and also added some softness by layering some cheese cloth.

I hope you give our challenge a still have time to link up your entry.  Be sure to check out the link up above for all the details or just pop over to the Mad About Scrappin Blog.  I look forward to seeing your creations.

✿ღ.~Mad About Scrappin Monday~ღ.✿

Hey everyone, I have a little tag to share with you all today.  This is my Mad About Scrappin project showcasing some of the gorgeous laces and flowers that you can find over in the store.

I started with a manilla #8 shipping tag...

and the Kasiercraft - Needle and Thread paper pad
And some gorgeous shabby embellishments from Mad About Scrappin
 I added some hand sewing.
 Inked up all the edges.
Cut a dress form from the Tim Holtz Sewing room die.  I cut the bodice piece from the paper pad and added some cheesecloth, lace and pearl trim.
I also culled my shabby embellishments to just a few.  I have also used a spool or bobbin cut from the die and wrapped some seam binding and embroidery floss.  The final touch was a small sewing machine charm.
Then the fun began....putting it all together!!
.....and here is where I always forget to take pictures. So what follows is the finished product!!

The products I have used to create this project are:-

Paper Bag Recipe Mini Album Part II

Hey everyone, so I am back and with my finished paper bag recipe mini album.  You may remember me sharing the first part or the construction part of this mini just a week or so ago.   This mini was created from my Mad About Scrappin design team kit for February.  The papers used through out are from the Carta Bella Range - Homemade with Love.  These paper are just so rich in their colours and have a  slightly vintage-y or may be even a retro feel to them.  I have downloaded some free images from the internet to embellish and create my recipe tags with..... So enough of that chatter here are the pics!!

This is mini has already been claimed by my daughter in-law-to-be.  She fell in love with the colours and loves that the paper bags can store recipes from her collection.  Thanks so much for stopping by....please do stop by the Mad About Scrappin Store to see what's new and what's on sale.  Come like us on Facebook and check out the blog for all the latest creations from the team.

Sweet Sentiments Easter Tag

G'day everyone, today I am sharing with you all an Easter tag that I have created with the Graphic 45 Collection - Sweet Sentiments.

I have had this chipboard tag in my stash for quite awhile, just waiting fo rtha perfect project to come along.  The tag measures 6 3/4 inches x 41/2 inches or 17cm x 11.5cm.  I inked the edges with Tim Holtz Distress Ink - Dusty Concord

After much agonising - I chose Perfect Petals and All My love to cover the tag.

From the Easter Greetings sheet I cut this image to use as my top layer.  Once I had all my papers trimmed and cut to size, I then inked the edges with more Dusty Concord

Using my scissors I distressed all the edges of All My Love.

Once this was done I adhered my layers down with some double sided tape.
I sandwiched some off cuts of cheese cloth in to soften up the edges a little and maybe add a bit of a shabby effect.
I wanted to add some dimension to my tag so I fussy cut a second image from the Easter Greetings sheet

and using some double sided foam tape
I carefully adhered my two layers.
I cut the small picket fence from the reverse side of All My Love and the Country Fence die from Memory box.  I adhered this to the Easter Sentiment.

Once I had all my layers in place it was just a matter of adding some of the embellishments.
I have used a small square doily from Prima, two pink mini sachet flowers also from Prima, two Priam fabric leaves from the Cabriole Plum Collection.  Ribbons, laces and seam binding are from my stash.

I have covered the back with the reverse side of All My Love and an Easter Greetings tag from the Spring has Sprung page.

I embellished the corner with another Prima square doily, seam binding, Prima mini Sachet paper flower and some paper flourishes cut with the  Tim Holtz Festive Greenery die.

The products I have used to create this project are:
