Typography Altered Photobox

G'day everyone,   Today I am here to share some ways that you can use some of those gorgeous metal embellishments you will find at Faith Pocock Craft Studio Ltd.  I have had this old photo box sitting in my to do pile for quite some time now and I thought to myself how cool would it look covered in the Graphic 45's Typography paper?? These papers really team up well with all the metals!! Just loving how this turned out.  So now here is a bit of a walk through on how I altered this.

I began with this bare canvas - albeit a green one.

I did sand this roughly before adding a coat of black paint.  I thought that I actually had more progress photos than this, but either my pc has ate them OR I only thought I took them....I am leaning towards the latter folks, as we all know how well I go with taking the process shots.

I covered the box with papers from Graphic 45's "Typography" papers.  I have used both the 12x12 and the 8x8 pads.

and I have also added some metal embellishments from Faith Pocock Craft Studio Ltd

Now lets jump straight to the glamour shots.

Here are the inner "pages" for want of a better word.

The products I have used to embellish this project are:-

  1. Oh my goodness, Kimi, I absolutely Luurvve how you altered this piece. The pprs are my kinda vintage/masculine type look & then your addition of metal feet, drawer pulls & corners just make it fabulous!! I only own a few sheets of this collection so, Yes you guesses it, I can't actually use them. Just for stroking & gushing over. Perhaps if I ever win the lottery, I'll be able to "use" them. Lol.
You yet again created such a cool piece, I don't know how you do it (really).... Tk care of u. C :)
