Gift Box

Hey everyone, Christmas is getting closer!! Are you ready for it?  Still doing some last minute shopping myself and creating too.  Today I have a little gift box in non traditional Christmas colours.   Yep it is that time of the week again and the team over The shabby Tea Rooms Blog have been madly creating for you all.

This week is #196  ~ NOEL ~ and we were to create our project using buttons and polka dots.  Here was our inspiration pic..  How cute is that??

Well guys here is my take on that....

 a little altered gift box

I have used the colour mix of cream and baby blue.  Such a nice soft mix and a bit of different take on the traditional Christmas colours.  I have used some embroidery floss to hang the buttons as baubles and stamped the sentiment in blue chalk inks.
I have finished the lid off with a border of the polka dot papers and some fine soft cream lace and polka dot ribbon

That is all I have for you today.  I hope I have inspired you to create some different ways to give your gifts this season.  Head on over to The Shabby Tea Room and check out what we everyone has been creating this week and join in this fun challenge.

Till next time remember to .....
