Christmas Cracker

Welcome to day two of our blog hop where the Scotties Craft  Design Team are creating Christmas Crackers to inspire you! If you missed the previous post/s please go to the Scottie Crafts blog here

So lets get cracking....lol sorry, couldn't help myself.  For my christmas cracker I have used some scraps and leftovers from Kaisercrafts Gingerbread Collection and some chocolate brown bazzil cardstock.  I loved the rustic charm of the 3D star and decided to take the rustic route again.
I have used my electronic cutter to create the cracker base and then hand cut some strips to layer on the cracker segments. I have also created the same flower I used on the star to layer on top - creating a christmas-y cluster!!   I added some holly leaves and berries that I have in my stash, along with some more of those brown twine twists.  Yes I am loving those...so easy to make and very effective embellishments
I have added a sentiment from the Kaisercraft collectables.
and some christmasy coloured seam binding bows...

I hope I have inspired you to go crackers.....oh wait that should read - give our crackers a go!!

Please come visit Scotties Craft blog everyday for the next week to see everyone's gorgeous crackers.  Please make sure you read the whole post each day for instructions on the DT blog each day. Everyone's  blogs will have a secret word or words for you to note down.  Once the week is over you will have a secret sentence to post on Scottie Crafts Facebook Page under a post on Friday the 8th of November. Please post the sentence by 10am on Monday the 11th November 2013 to be in a random draw  for a great set of wood mounted Memory Box Stamps.  There will also be a competition announcement at the end of the blog hop.

My secret word is
