Fathers Day Card

Hey everyone, today I am coming to your from my den of scrappiness on behalf of the Pride and sharing with you all my Fathers Day Card.  This month our den mother Elsa told us to go have fun....mmm.....soooooooooo I did....I have been madly ripping, tearing, pouncing, playing, cutting, glueing and even sewing!! and yep I had fun!! Now for the boring up my mess afterwards!! I have paper scraps everywhere.  Ok, so here are some photos for you to pounce and prowl through.....

The papers I have used are just a random mix from my stash.  The cream top layer is a piece from Simple Stories Documented 6x6 paper pad and the brown print is from  Collections Elements - Shabby Chic 6x6 papers.  The pocket watch is a chipboard piece that I have had in my hoard for so long now that I don't remember where it came from.
I have used a Kaisercraft stamp for the clock face, which I stamped with some jet black stazon and then coated with some glossy accents.  After it dried I rubbed in some TIm Holtz - Walnut Stain distress ink to show up all the cracks.
Using some of my sewing stash I pawed my way through till I found some matching embroidery floss and hand pierced, then hand sewn the stitched border.  All my edges were distressed then inked with some more of the Walnut Stain.
I even used Walnut stain on my wooden buttons to give them that old, used look. As well as edging the chipboard watch with it too.
I have used some adorn it tiny letters.  I bought these years ago and have just been saving for that perfect project.....well no more saving!!  This is the year I am using....
To finish it off I have added a brown gingham ribbon bow. Thanks for pouncing on sure to prowl on over to Suzie's Den to see what delightful creations she has in store for you.  If you have randomly pounced upon my blog, please begin the prowl/hop at Elsa's.

Thanks for stopping by everyone...
