The Pride is here!!

Helloooooo everyone and welcome to Just a Few Friends.....come in, put your feet up, sit a while and enjoy what The Pride has created in their scrappy dens.  You may all be wondering, "what is the pride?" Well Elsa, Krystal, myself  and just a few friends have joined together to bring you all some creative inspiration for the coming year. We have called ourselves The Pride and our motto is to "Roar with Pride".  We plan to challenge and inspire you all  with our projects that are holiday and theme based.  There are five of us.....each lionness brings to the Pride their own unique scrappiness.  So every month we will hold mini blog hops, challenges and perhaps even some giveaways that  we hope will make you "Roar with Scrappy Pride" too.  Please be sure to join us every month to see what we have all created in our scrappy dens.

This month our theme was teapots/teacups to welcome you all to our Dens of Scrappiness :)  I really enjoyed this theme....it allowed me to stop procrastinating and finally create a better way to store all my stickpins!!

I have created three very different, but quick and easy projects to welcome you all.

Firstly I have altered a china teacup and saucer to make a stick pin holder.  The teacup has an old fashion feel to it and has a pink English rose design.  So picking up on the colour theme I have added flowers to the handle area and adhered them in place with my hot glue gun.  I also created some colour bobbins complete with cotton and a tiny pair of scissors with a beaded tassled tail.

My next project was a "hello" card.  I created this using We R Memory Keepers Tiffany paper pad.  This is a stack that has been sitting in my stash unused for quite some time....years in fact.  So I thought it was aabout time that stopped hoarding it and started using it!!  This is going to be an underlying theme for me this year....is to stop hoarding all my papers and get inspired to create with them!!

And last, but not least, is my little gift bag!  I cut the bag out with my cricut and the teapots used in my projects come from my fellow lionness and cyber sissy Elsa.....

This cute little gift bag contains a teabag and the verse printed on the attached card reads:

I'd like to come to visit you
and have a cup of tea
but as you live so far away
please have this cup on me

Super cute gift idea for that far away friend or relatives.  Well bloggers these are my projects to welcome you all to The Pride......I hope they inspire you and remember to please hop over to the other Lionesses at:

Be sure to check them all out and leave a comment.  Elsa is offering a giveaway and to be eligible you must leave a comment.  Thank you all so much for reading....be on the lookout for us...the pride is always on the prowl!!

Roar with Pride!!
